-dance

-group movement class (eg. karate class, tai chi in the park)
-walk outside (in town to interact with people, in nature to ground/peace)

-go for a drive/bike ride- seeing a changing landscape is good for the brain
-take the bus or train- same benefits of movement/changing landscape, plus social interaction
(BONUS- take the bus to a part of town you haven’t explored before!)


Manage space
-declutter
-clean bathroom, windows
-clean floors to clear energy tracked in
-smudge (with more than sage! look into what your ancestors used)
-move furniture for new flow
-wash sheets, towels
-pick up garbage outside (going for a walk and picking up garbage makes me feel great!)

Hygiene
-basic (shower, teeth, face, comb hair) 
-pamper (Epsom salt bath, facemask, steam, oils...)
-hot springs

 New/Old Energy clearing/managing techniques

-call your friend who’s going through something, ask if you can give your time to support them (help with groceries, etc)
-volunteer in your community.

Touch
-ask for/offer a hug
-cuddle/snuggle up to a platonic friend
-sit or walk side by side, arm in arm
-massage/somatic touch.
-play a sport where there is consensual touch
-engage in consensual sexual contact

Empathy
-listen to a neighbor, friend, community member
-ask genuinely about the day of the cashiers/service staff you encounter
-listen to a podcast or watch a documentary about someone’s personal experience
-learn about “those people” you have a problem with (with the intention of undertanding them and eliminating your problem)

Detox
-herbal teas                
-ionic foot bath          
-steam/bath, salts for detox
-yoga for detox
-massage with detox oil
-ground outside

Meditation
-YouTube “guided meditations” (for any emotion- Anxiety, letting go, open heart, w/e) 
-app?  (ask tech-savy zen friend)

-learn to sit with feelings and let them pass like waves, watching/feeling without taking it personally 

Sound
-music - to enhance current mood, to change mood
-binaural beats / frequencies / sound healing
-podcasts about calm things, or to learn new info about how you’re feeling, or to listen to something other than your own spiraling mind (the podcast I recommend first and foremost is For The Wild)
-affirmations/mantras/other positive brainwashing
-attend a live performance of music with an audience (SPIRITUALITY)
-learn an instrument/practice an instrument.
-drumming (drum beats influence brain activity, research it!)

Hydrate
-WATER! if the water where you live is highly treated learn about and experiment with Filters, Quartz Water, Alive Water, Kangen Water, spring water…
-coconut water
-herbal teas
-kombucha/fermented drinks
-juice

Food
-cook (cooking as act of self love)
-invite a friend over for dinner (spreading love)
-organize a potluck in your circles (community love)
-new recipes / foods (transform idea of self, be curious and joyful)
- new methods of preparation (eg fermentation)
-get super good at a couple easy healthy things you can make when you feel Heavy and Apathetic and don’t want to. both cooking and eating a healthy meal will help, so if you have something that you’ve cooked so many times it’s muscle memory that’s helpful
-make the same amazing thing for breakfast every day to motivate you out of bed
-go out for dinner! Let someone else cook for you, interact with service staff and customers, spread gratitude.

-ADJUST YOUR DIET TO BE HEALTHIER. this is different for everyone based on your body/energetic body, where you live, and what you’re going through. but some things we can all probably focus on are:
-reduce chemicals/processed foods
-add more (naturally) colorful foods
-fermented foods
-mushrooms, mushroom extracts
-herbs, spices, and adaptogens
-Cut down/out eating animals, or switch to ethically raised animal products (how does an unhealthy animal feed you energetically? Google scared pigs’ meat) **I recommend the book Eating Animals by Jonathan Saran Foer to help you figure out your relationship to eating meat.

Create
-express how you feel in a creative way, develop a craft
-appreciate other art/artists       (online, magazines, museum/local gallery/beautiful shop) 
-learn your own taste                                                
-find something about the situation that’s beautiful
-do a group creative project (eg- jam, decorate a set for a video, makeup and a photoshoot, activities where you exchange creative ideas. or canning/crafting where you sit together and make)
-crafting (do something just for fun that you don’t have to be “great” at)
-take photos, create photo-stories.

Process
-journal / write
-talk with counselor/coach/wise friend
-learn new information to widen your understanding (RESEARCH, follow mental health IGs, youtubes…) 
-pull some tarot cards and think of how it applies to your life
-create Soul Collages to bring up subconscious via images

Give out Love
-smile at people in public
-give money to a person who asks, look them in the eyes, connect
-give a big tip
-give a sincere compliment to a stranger
-send a nice note to a friend
-spread love to strangers online
-offer time to a friend
-respond to a request for community care
-bake and take it to the neighbors

Laugh
-watch comedy, videos of the Dalai Lama laughing, cartoons, whatever
-laughing yoga (feels kind of cringe but works) 
-hang with upbeat friends, tell jokes and funny stories together, remember funny memories
-go to live comedy, drag shows

Nature, plants
-realign with quiet outside time
-barefoot (grounding)
-be still, quiet, green
-care for plants 
-greenhouse, botanical garden, etc.
-running water is also cleansing/soothing
-visit the river near you
-learn about plants/animals/rocks in your area

 Animals
-walk dogs
-bird watching
-cat cafes are a city thing I hear about :D also you could pet a cat but let’s not count on the cat letting you           
-horse therapy
-as signs (pay attention to the animals in your world and look up what they mean)

Dress up 
-listen to boasty music and play dress up in the depths of your closet
-try out colorful clothes, flowy fabrics, jewelry
-wear luxurious fabrics
-wear your FAVORITE cozy things that you’ve had for a hundred years
-invite friends over to go through your closet, or to help with an outfit for an event

Spirituality
-connect with a group to pray
-pray to your own altar
-create a spell or ceremony
-go somewhere to watch the sunset
